Professional Standards and Training Division- The Professional Standards and Training Division is responsible for professional development and providing comprehensive fire suppression and emergency medical service instruction to all members of the Fire Department. The Division ensures compliance with all applicable industry professional standards and statutory requirements, conducts regular exercises, live fire drills and specialized training to ensure that consistent and effective emergency services continue to be provided. The Division is also responsible for training and orientation of new members entering the Department, as well as coordinating the promotional testing process.
